Orientation Applications are invited from prevocational and vocational trainees in NSW who have an interest in Medical Education and Training. Selection into the program will be merit based with preference given to a range of representatives from state-trainee groups, college representatives and peak bodies representing trainee interests such as the AMA-DIT and RMOA. For 2010 there will be a maximum of 20 places.
Eligibility Criteria The following eligibility criteria will be considered when reviewing applications:
- Current involvement in a committee or group that deals with medical education and training such as an IMET committee or State Training Council or JMO education group.
- A current prevocational or vocational trainee in NSW.
- Demonstrated interest and engagement with medical education and training.
- Demonstrated benefit to the applicant.
- Opportunity of application of skills and knowledge follow the program.
- Commitment to attend the full program (10 workshop days)
