The Survey Team
A survey team usually consists of a minimum of three surveyors comprising of at least one person from the following groups:

All surveyors complete training before undertaking an accreditation survey. For more information click here. Before the survey

The survey team will then prepare for the survey by:
-
examining the self-assessment and supplementary documentation provided by the facility
-
examining the previous report (if there has been one)
-
reviewing the actions taken to respond to the recommendations and any proviso from the previous survey
-

- a tour of all educational and prevocational trainee facilities such as the library and accommodation
- a debriefing at the end with relevant facility staff to discuss the survey findings.
After the survey
After the survey:
- a comprehensive report is finalised by the survey team including commendations and recommendations for improving the quality of prevocational training
- the report is sent to the Prevocational Accreditation Committee where a decision is made on the length and status of accreditation
