What are the decisions made by the Prevocational Accreditation Committee?

The Prevocational Accreditation Committee awards accreditation to facilities and the terms within them where prevocational trainees work.

The status, conditions and length of accreditation will be dependent on a facility's compliance to the standards.

Accreditation may be awarded for:

  • Three years
  • Twelve months
  • Six months

When there are specific issues that require attention, the PAC may award accreditation contingent on the facility addressing provisos within a given period of time.

The PAC may also decide that a focus visit is required to ensure provisos have been addressed.
